 KARACHI:  Updated: It was a dance party or a Mujra which took the life of Taley Bugti son of Salim Bugti and grand son of the great Nawab Akber Khan Bugti of Baluchistan.

The party was arranged by a political party’s worker Asif Rajer at a hired Bungalow No. 121, on 7th street, Khayaban-e-Rahat in Defense Phase VI.  A stage under proper parcans lighting set up was arranged for the function. Dancing girls were brought from Akhter Colony for the party.

A strong 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit the coastal province of Papua in Indonesia on Sunday at 1216 GMT, said a news report. No damage or tsunami has so far been reported.

After shock was also reported measuring 5.4 magnitudes after 10 minutes.

The US geological survey said that the  its epicenter was detected  at a depth of 36 kilometers (20 miles), 161 kilometers from Enarotali., at 9:16 pm (1216 GMT)., the news report said.

A friendly dance party  function in a bungalow at Khayaban-e-Rahat in the Defense residential area turned deadly when two groups clashed with each other killing five and wounding nine people present there, said a press report quoting geo news.

In the shoot out , four people died on the spot and ten wounded were rushed to the hospital. The wounded included Taleh Bugti grandson of Nawab Akber Khan Bugti.

Taleh Bugti succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Police official said that several people have been arrested from the Bungalow.

Others who died in the shoot out has been identified as Kamran, Dr Iqbal and Banti, details are still awaited.

The injured has been named as ncluded Zeeshan, 28; Ziauddin, 19; Zahid Fazal, 27; Faraz Amir, 22; Irfan Adnan, 33; Qamar Din, 30; Shahbaz Habib, 30; Bilal Arshad, 25 and Esa Jalaluddin, 28.

The police is investicating the case.

Indian Army chief General Vijay Kumar Singh, who fought Bangladesh freedom fight against Pakistan army in 1971, is on a five day visit to Bangladesh. On the second day of his visit, he called on President Zillur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday. BD news report said.

Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina Wajed expressed her deep gratitude to the Indian army and the then government of Indra Gandhi for their active contribution in the freedom fight of Bangladesh.

General Vijay Kumar Singh is said to be the only Indian army soldier who fought the Bangladesh freedom war shoulder to shoulder with Muki Bahini against Pakistan army in 1971.

 After getting commission in the Rajput Regiment in 1970 as 2nd lieutenant, Vijay Kumar Singh was sent into Bangladesh (then Pakistan) in April 1971 just after Pakistani President, General Yahya Khan had imposed military rule in march. He imparted training to freedom fighters at different frontier camps from April to September in 1971
to fight the government (Pakistan) army.

Sheikh Hasina said in her meeting with the Indian Army Chief at the official residence Gono Bhaban, that Bangladesh believes in peaceful coexistence and maintaining friendly relations with all its neighbors including India.

MV Suez Crew Picked Up By PNS Baber

All of the 22 member crew of MV Suez has been shifted to the Pakistani warship PNS Baber a short while ago. As reported earlier the MV Suez ran out of fuel 70 miles off the Omani port of Salala. It was heading to the port after getting relased by the Somali Pirates last weak.

 The Egyptian company who owns the vessel failed to send supply for refueling. While heading towards the Omani port of Salala. With the engine cut off and all system shut the vessel started taking water in the stormy weather.

On receiving a SOS message from Captain Wasi of the MV Suez, Pakistan Naval Chief ordered immediate evacuation. The 22 member crew comprising 6 Indian, 11 Egyptian, 4 Pakistanis and 1 Sri Lankan have now been shifted safe in to the warship.

Salma Al Beloushi, aged 24, has become the first UAE lady pilot to fly Air Bus A320 Abu Dhabi-Athens flight as Co-Pilot or first officer for the Etihad Airlines, a news report said.

Salma said that flying attracted her from the time she started growing and she always dreamt to become a pilot. She joined Etihad Airline in 2007 as a cadet for flying courses in the Horizon International Flight Academy in Al-Ain and was certified as pilot in 2009.

She harnessed her maiden flight as a co-pilot in an A320 Air Bus flight from Abu Dhabi to Athens on June 9. Her first flight during the training was a trip to London which she said was scary.

Salma Al Beloushi has set example for other UAE girls to take the flying profession shunning all inhibition.
