Indian Muslim Legislature Attacked In Hyderabad
Hyderabad, India April 30
Akbaruddin Owaisi. Andhra Pradesh
legislator was seriously injured when his opponents attacked him with knives
and fired gun shots at 11-30 AM Saturday
when he was about to sit in his car after a meeting in the Barkas neighborhood
in the old city of Hyderabad .
He was badly injured and bleeding when he was rushed
to the Owaisi Hospital in Santosh Nagar.
The doctor said “He is stable, we are monitoring him
carefully. We are sure he will come out safely,"
Akhbaruddin Owais belonged to the Majlis-e-Ittehadul
Muslimeen.After the
news spread, tension gripped the city of Hyderabad, in Andra Pradesh province
of India.
