India Unhappy On Pakistani Naval Base Incident

India has expressed its sorrow on the loss of live and naval assets of Pakistan in the terrorists attack on the naval base at Karachi on Sunday. He said security must be stepped up and vigil has to be maintained across the country.
P. Chidambaram, the Indian Home Minister, commenting on the Pakistan`s naval airbase
incident said: “I have described our neighborhood as a troubled neighborhood. This incident has once against pointed to that conclusion.”He further said “India was not happy about the incident that took place in Karachi”---. “In fact, we are sad that lives are lost. But that is today a troubled state.”
“Noting that any incident of terrorism in the region certainly must be viewed gravely”, He said: “We must increase our vigil. Therefore we remain alert and we have alerted the states based on whatever intelligence we have.”
Chidambaram said that advisory has been sent to all Indian states to declare high security alert in their jurisdiction.
