Chinese tourists Gunned Down In Gilgit, Pakistan

Unknown Gunmen killed eleven foreign tourists including six Chinese nationals late Saturday night in the ‘Fairy Meadow ‘site at the Nanga Prabat tourists Base camp near Bunar  Nullah area of the Gilgit-Baltistan province, bordering  Kashmir and China. The armed men intruded the area wearing forces uniform.

The slain tourists were staying in a local hotel at the foot of Himalayan Range of Gilgit- Baltistan. The gunmen barged into the hotel and opened fire. Initial report said that 6

Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan with  his Dutch partner Jean-Julien Rojer outplayed Juilan Knowle and David Marrero to win the doubles final of the Estoril Open with a 7-5,7-5 straight hit.

To reach the final for the win, Aisamul Huque and Jean Julien Rojer had defeated the French duo of Richard Gasquet and Roger Vasseln 6-3, 6-1 in the semi-final.

In the other semi-final, Knowle and Marrero beat Mikhail Elgin and Denis Istomin 7-6 (4) 5-7, 10-6 to make in the final..

Controversial Pakistani model/actress Veena Malick,now in India , has again hit the media by throwing out her intentions to pose nude for the “Playboy” magazine, a news report said.

Not content with her display of nudity in FHM magazine, Veena Malick now wants to show herself naked exposing more of her flesh parts left to be seen till now.

Veena is expected to earn 1 million dollar from the ‘Playboy’ magazine for baring herself.

Veena does not care for the point whether she would look sexually attractive or repulsive when she bares more of her flesh parts as professionals models do in the mag.

Karachi: Abdul Sattar Edhi, the Renowned Philanthropist and a selfless Social activist called upon  the army Chief Ashfaq Pervez Kayani to  take over the country for a limited period of time for cleaning the mess of lawlessness, corruption and Taliban militant’s activities in Karachi.

 Sattar Edhi was addressing a press conference on Saturday amidst killings of innocent residents of Orangi which left 102 dead in four days since Tuesday.

85 killed In Karachi Ethnic Riot, ANP Blamed

 21 people were killed on Friday to bring the death toll to 85 as blood shed started in Karachi since the ANP supporters attacked the Urdu speaking residents of Qasba colony of Orangi Township on Tuesday. The MQM has said that the near by settlement of Awami National Party (ANP), a Peshawar based pushtoon party was responsible for most of the brutal killings of innocent residents of the Orangi Township.

Imam of an ANP controlled mosque in Qasba was heard announcing on P.A. system that killing of Urdu speaking population of Karachi is Jihad and justified.  Many of the locals have heard the pushtoon Mullah saying that. This was also verified by a participant in an ARY TV program ‘11th Hour by Wasim Badami broad cast on 7th July. The PPP led government has so far failed to take any action.

The victims of Qasba killing belongs to the families who had migrated from India in 1947 following Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s call that he was building Pakistan for the Muslims of India.
 Meanwhile the MQM has blamed that TALIBAN has taken over ANP and fighting the local residents to set up their strong hold in Karachi as a base.

Firing rockets and throwing hand grenades on a civilian area are Taliban like attack.
While the blood shed continues in Karachi, the PPP led Government has so far shown its inability to control the situation.

ISLAMABAD: It was disclosed in a statement issued by US embassy in Pakistan made public on June 26 that Washington fully support the cause of Pakistani Gays and Lesbians

The first gay and lesbians pride celebration ceremony was held in Islamabad arranged by the US embassy where the US diplomats assured Washington’s full support to the cause of homosexual’s men and women in Pakistan.

The  pride celebration ceremony of Gays and Lesbians held at the US embassy was attended by more than 75 people including  US diplomats, US military representatives, foreign diplomats Pakistani Gay and Lesbian members of GLBT(gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender)  of Pakistan.

The civil society in Pakistan has condemned the US embassy’s overture to give official recognition to Gay and Lesbianism in Pakistan which is totally un-islamic.

 KARACHI:  Updated: It was a dance party or a Mujra which took the life of Taley Bugti son of Salim Bugti and grand son of the great Nawab Akber Khan Bugti of Baluchistan.

The party was arranged by a political party’s worker Asif Rajer at a hired Bungalow No. 121, on 7th street, Khayaban-e-Rahat in Defense Phase VI.  A stage under proper parcans lighting set up was arranged for the function. Dancing girls were brought from Akhter Colony for the party.

A friendly dance party  function in a bungalow at Khayaban-e-Rahat in the Defense residential area turned deadly when two groups clashed with each other killing five and wounding nine people present there, said a press report quoting geo news.

In the shoot out , four people died on the spot and ten wounded were rushed to the hospital. The wounded included Taleh Bugti grandson of Nawab Akber Khan Bugti.

Taleh Bugti succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Police official said that several people have been arrested from the Bungalow.

Others who died in the shoot out has been identified as Kamran, Dr Iqbal and Banti, details are still awaited.

The injured has been named as ncluded Zeeshan, 28; Ziauddin, 19; Zahid Fazal, 27; Faraz Amir, 22; Irfan Adnan, 33; Qamar Din, 30; Shahbaz Habib, 30; Bilal Arshad, 25 and Esa Jalaluddin, 28.

The police is investicating the case.

MV Suez Crew Picked Up By PNS Baber

All of the 22 member crew of MV Suez has been shifted to the Pakistani warship PNS Baber a short while ago. As reported earlier the MV Suez ran out of fuel 70 miles off the Omani port of Salala. It was heading to the port after getting relased by the Somali Pirates last weak.

 The Egyptian company who owns the vessel failed to send supply for refueling. While heading towards the Omani port of Salala. With the engine cut off and all system shut the vessel started taking water in the stormy weather.

On receiving a SOS message from Captain Wasi of the MV Suez, Pakistan Naval Chief ordered immediate evacuation. The 22 member crew comprising 6 Indian, 11 Egyptian, 4 Pakistanis and 1 Sri Lankan have now been shifted safe in to the warship.

The official announcement was made at an event in Versova, Mumbai, according to a Geo News report.

Veena Malick came under criticism in Pakistan by all segments of people for her revealing and explicit romantic relationship with Ashmit Patel in the Big Boss 4 show on Indian channel.
Veena Malik will make her debut in Bolywood film ‘Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai’.playing a double role. The film will be directed by Aanand Balraj.
