Afridi And Ijaz Butt Brought Together To End Crisis

Politicians and Government officials backed by the cricket lovers brought the flamboyant cricketer Shahid Afridi and the rigid Ijaz Butt the PCB chairman together for a close door meeting  on Tuesday to resolve their differences.

According to a Geo news report the PCB chairman Ijazz Butt and the former captain Shahid Afridi are considering for an out of court settlement.


Nadeem Sarwar, the PCB spokesman told the media that the meeting took place in presence of government officials on Tuesday, but declined to give detail.

Unconfirmed report said that Afridi would withdraw his case from the court against the PCB and appear before the disciplinary committee for explanation.

In return, the PCB would issue the no objection certificate (NOC) to Afridi to continue playing in county or in any other events.
