Afridi Rescued Hampshire With Five wickets Kill

Shahid Afridi playing his 2nd twenty-twenty match for Hampshire against Gloucestershire bagged five wickets for twenty getting Hampshire in the winning form.

Batting first, Hampshire made 139 runs loosing seven wickets. In batting, Afridi could not do
much as he was sent being caught on five by Gloucestershire's acting captain, Kane Williamson.

The match was affected by rain and was reduced to 17 overs giving a target of 124 runs to the Gloucestershire.

When Afridi came to bowling, his magical spin spell of five for twenty stunned the Gloucestershire. They were 107 all out in 16.4 overs.

Afridi was joyous and jubilant with his five wicket kill for the first time after the months of ordeal he went through fighting Ijazz Butt, the PCB Chairman.
