MV Suez Crew Picked Up By PNS Baber

All of the 22 member crew of MV Suez has been shifted to the Pakistani warship PNS Baber a short while ago. As reported earlier the MV Suez ran out of fuel 70 miles off the Omani port of Salala. It was heading to the port after getting relased by the Somali Pirates last weak.

 The Egyptian company who owns the vessel failed to send supply for refueling. While heading towards the Omani port of Salala. With the engine cut off and all system shut the vessel started taking water in the stormy weather.

On receiving a SOS message from Captain Wasi of the MV Suez, Pakistan Naval Chief ordered immediate evacuation. The 22 member crew comprising 6 Indian, 11 Egyptian, 4 Pakistanis and 1 Sri Lankan have now been shifted safe in to the warship.
