Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal an American professional basketball player has announced his retirement from the NBA through a video sent to Twitter on Wednesday.

O`Neal said in his message "We did it. Nineteen years baby. I want to thank you very much, that's why I'm telling you first, I'm about to retire,"

O’Neil’s current team Boston Celtics spokesman reportedly denied having any information about his retirement and said that the player had not officially intimated them of his decision.

News report said that O'Neal has lately suffered number injuries at the time he was with Boston, Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Shaquille Rashaun with his 7 ft 1 in (2.16 m) height and 325 pounds (147 kg) of his weight had forceful advantage over his opponents in scoring points.
