Sushma Swaraj Says "we will sing, swing and dance”

 NEW DELHI: June 8, 2011

India’s Opposition leader Sushma Swaraj reacted sharply on Tuesday Congress’ remarks that BJP become a party of "nachaniyon (dancers)”. Sushma Swaraj was seen dancing at the BJP's 24-hour protest demonstration at R Ramlila Maidan against the police action against Baba Ramdev hunger strike.

Swaraj asked for an explanation from UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi. She said. "I would like to ask Sonia Gandhi whether her party has stooped to such a low level and whether it is under her consent that a party singing patriotic songs is being dubbed as a party "nachaniyon (dancers)”of dancers,"

Congress General Secretaries Digvijaya Singh and BK Hariprasad had severely criticized Sushma for her dancing at the protest gathering at Ramlila Maidan.

An angered Sushma Swaraj said "we will sing, swing and dance on patriotic songs till our last breath."
