China Mine Accidents Killed 13 Workers
BEIJING: May 23, 2011
China state media reported on Monday that thirteen people were killed in two separate coal mines accidents. Seven people were killed and one injured late on Sunday in a gas accident at a mine in Lengshuijiang city in the central province of Hunan.
In a separate accident in the southwestern province of Sichuan. Six people were killed and 27 injured where about 200 workers were reportedly working at the mine in Rongxianmo official Xinhua news agency reported.
