Rahul Gandhi, Raj Babber Arrested By UP Police

Rahul Gandhi was arrested by UP police late in the Wednesday evening for taking part in the agitation by the farmers in Batta Parsaul village in western Uttar Pradesh.
Rahul Gandhi, a young congress leader reached the village early in the morning riding on the back of a fellow motorcyclist and joined the farmers agitating against the forcible acquisition of their lands.
Sitting in the scorching sun with the farmers in their Dharna, Rahul Said "I feel ashamed to call myself Indian after seeing what has happened here. The (state) government here has unleashed atrocities on its own people,"
It was later reported that Raj Babber, another congress leader has also been arrested.
