Rohan Bopanna-Aisam Quraishi Win German ATP

 Aisam Ul Haq Qureshi of Pakistan and India’s Davis Cupper Rohan Bopanna won their second ATP World Tour team title at the Gerry Weber Open with a fighting 7-6(8), 3-6, and 11-9 thumping over Dutch Robin Haase and Canadian Milos Raonic in Germany on Sunday. .

The “Indo-Pak Express”, ranked sixth in the world, were battling in their ninth tour-level doubles final and piled up a valuable 250 ATP points.

The Indo-Pak Express took an hour and 19 minutes to overpower Haase and Raonic in the grass court event. The express had lost in the French Open.
The ATP win is a warm up for the Wimbledon beginning June 28.

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Syed Yusuf Reza Gilani has congratulated Aisamul Huque and Rohan Bopanna and in the statement he said:  “the whole nation is proud of this tremendous success and wishes them a bright future.
