Dance Party Took Life of Akber Bugti’s Grandson Taley Bugti
KARACHI: Updated: It was a dance party or a Mujra which took the life of Taley Bugti son of Salim Bugti and grand son of the great Nawab Akber Khan Bugti of Baluchistan.
The party was arranged by a political party’s worker Asif Rajer at a hired Bungalow No. 121, on 7th street, Khayaban-e-Rahat in Defense Phase VI. A stage under proper parcans lighting set up was arranged for the function. Dancing girls were brought from Akhter Colony for the party.
At around 1-45 am past midnight, while the dance party was in full swing Taley Bugti of Jamhoori watan Party reportedly gate crashed the venue with six of his friend which triggered a armed clash. The group stated firing at each other killing Kamran Shafi, Dr Iqbal, Joseph and moon and a girl called Bunty on the spot.
Taley Bugti with serous bullet wounds was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Ziauddin who was one of the injured also died in the hospital on Monday raising the number of deaths to six.
Other injured included Zeeshan, Zaid Fazl, Faraz Ameer, Irfan Adnan, Qamar, Shahbaz, Bilal and Essa.
Police also recovered arms and ammunition from the Bungalow. Police said that 9MM pistols, Kalashnikovs and SMGs were used by the groups during the firing incident.
Arif Rajper, the organizer and Dr. Iqbal have been accused of starting the firing. While Dr.Iqbal was himself killed, police are hunting for Arif Rajper. Zahed Butt A friend of Taleh Bugti who was with him at the time has also been arrested.
