DASH Diet Getting Popular
A recent study in the Boston University Medical Center discovered that DASH diet if used by adolescent’s girls can keep them slim with a controlled Body Mass Index and with less chance of unusual weight gain for a healthy mind and body when they grow into adulthood.
Controlling unusual weight gain in youth is most likely to ensure a sustainable health when they become adult. DASH diet has been found to be helpful in protecting against obesity, diabetes, high blood pressures, and cardiac risk.
DASH diet was never created for teen girls. It was originally intended for adults as dietary measure to fight hypertension and related complaints. But it has started showing good results in controlling weight gain in teen age girls.
