Matric Student Sarfaraz Shah  Killed Point Blank By Rangers
Karachi, June 9, 2011,
Sarfaraz Shah aged 17 a student of Matric was killed point blank by range in shahid Benazir Bhutto Park in the boat basin. He was taken into custody near the park on complaint of dacoity, and was killed by Rangers, a news report said.
A spokesman of Sindh Rangers said “A man approached the Rangers personnel deputed outside Benazir Shaheed Park with a complaint against a young bandit inside the park,” ----. “The Rangers officials went inside the park and spotted the youngster who fired at them. The return fire from the Rangers killed the bandit.”
Detail of the loot and arms was not given by the Rangers. His brother Salik shah claimed that Sarfaraz was innocent.
Soon after,  TV channels  telecast the footage of the Ranger’s action against the so called dacoit. The young man is seen surrounded by four soldiers. With no arm in his hand, he could have easily been overpowered and arrested. But the soldiers killed him point blank, another extra-judicial killing after Kharotabad-Quetta incident where five innocents were killed.

Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has ordered an enquiry into the incident.
Police has registered a case against the two Rangers men Aalam Zaib and Akhtar on the complaint of his brother Salik Shah.
