KV Kamath Becomes Infosys Chairman

KV Kamath, has been announced to be the next Chairman of the IT bellwether INFOSYS, the second largest software firm of India.
The present founder chairman of Infosys, Narayana Murthy will retire from his position on August 2011,  and will hand over his responsibilities of the chair  to KV Kamath,
Kamnath is a renowned mechanical engineer having his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmadabad. KV Kamath is a non executive banker for ICICI and also Independent Director of Infosys.

  1. I think Infy is doing the right thing by being conservative. That's in fact a major reason that it was the 1st company to start hiring during recession, plus the only corporate giant who didn't cancel any job offers made just before. That was the "real" act of boldness, boldness in favour of its people, not for the attractive figures on balance sheet. Being steady is the best thing and the ethical thing.
