Atiqa Odhu Caught With Liquors Had To Resign 

LAHORE - June 7, 2011

Chief of the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Genereal (rtd) Pervez Musharraf has taken note of Atiqa Odho’s conduct on her being caught with two bottles of liquor at Islamabad airport before boarding a flight to Karachi. 

Atiqa Odhu was the media co-ordinator  of Musharraf's political party APML and her case of being held for

liquors was found to be tarnishing the image of the newly launched All Pakistan Muslim League party. 

A probe has been ordered by Pervez Musharraf. Chaudhry Shahbaz Hussain, Chief Coordinator APML has been directed to investigate Atiqa’s liquor case.

Meanwhile, Atiqa Odho has resigned from Musharraf’s party on instruction received from party’s central leadership. Fawad Chaudhry, APML spokesman has confirmed that Atiqa has tendered her resignation.
